EHC OIL AND FILTER ANALYSIS

EHC Oil and Filter Analysis helps you run more efficiently

EHC Systems are critical pieces of equipment that need to be analyzed like any other system. However they do present a fair amount of challenges. Over the last 20 years OAL has developed methods to help keep EHC systems running in great condition.

Controlling acid content, water and particulate are 3 big things on an EHC system. With an EHC Oil Analysis Package we can help you keep an eye on all 3 plus look at viscosity, wear metals and additives.

Varnish build up in an EHC System can lead to servo issues

Identify Problems

If the oil is ran to long or to hot; it will build up varnish. The varnish can cause you major problems on your servos and can lead to downtime. If your acid control filters (Fullers Earth) are migrating this can cause servo Issues. Testing your EHC oil on a quarterly basis will help you identify if you are forming any varnishes and prevent costly repairs.

Recommended Quarterly Testing

Elemental Analysis (Wear Metals and Additives), Viscosity, Particle Count, Water Content, Acid Number and MPC

Recommended Year Testing

Elemental Analysis (Wear Metals and Additives), Viscosity, Particle Count, Water Content, Acid Number, MPC, Foaming, Flashpoint and Resistivity

Filter Plugging

If your system is plugging filters or servo's prematurely you may already have varnish formed in your system. With EHC Filter & Servo Analysis we can identify if there is varnish or other contaminants (like acid control filter media) in the filters and servos to help identify what is plugging your filters. Once you know what is plugging the filters you can fix the problem and reduce filter usage and end servo problems.
