Construction Equipment Oil Analysis

Construction Fleets can save time and money by using oil analysis to predict failures and implement condition based oil drains. If you are changing your oil based on time (Yearly, Bi Yearly, End of Season) you may be wasting good oil. Oil analysis can tell you if you need to change the oil or if you can continue to run the oil. On systems over 5 gallons you can usually save money the first year, especially on equipment you don't run a lot.

Save money on each components oil

Engines: Engine oil drains can vary widely due to duty cycle, operating temperature, emissions equipment and idle time but typically on diesel engines you may be able to safely run 250-500 hours on conventional oil with oil analysis.

Transmissions:  Drain intervals can vary widely due to duty cycle and operating temperature but you may be able to run 1,000 to 10,000 hours on conventional oil with oil analysis.

Hydraulics:  Are usually the largest sumps and have valves that require clean oil so they are a great candidate for condition based drains. Drain intervals can vary widely due to duty cycle, operating temperature and filtration but you may be able to run 1,000 to 10,000 hours on conventional oil with oil analysis.

Predict Failures, Plan Maintenance & Reduce Downtime

Oil Analysis can give you insight into how your equipment is running and if you have any parts wearing out. Know you have an engine that needs rings is never fun but oil & filter analysis can help you know if its something you need to do immediately or if you can run till the end of the season and fix it over the winter when downtime is not as critical.

Plan your equipment budget in advanced

With oil and filter analysis we can help you know which pieces of your equipment are running in tip top shape and which ones may be wearing out. This knowledge can help you know which new components or equipment to budget for next year.
